Deputy Head Teachers’ Welcome

Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to welcome you to Read Academy with the warmest of greetings

Assalamu’alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh (May Peace, Mercy and Allah’s Blessings be upon you)

First and foremost, I thank Allah Subhaanahu wa ta’ala for His infinite mercy, generosity, compassion and unfaltering love. It is only with His help that this school was established and numerous, seemingly insurmountable hurdles overcome.

Read Academy began its journey in 2013 with a handful students and thanks to our significant success and positive reputation the school is growing from strength to strength. From starting with just two year groups in Primary to now expanding into an early years and secondary setting too, we are blessed to be in a unique position of the FIRST all-through Muslim Independent school in Redbridge, providing education for boys and girls from the age of 3 to 16. Alhamdulillah Ofsted has recognised the school’s efforts and graded the school as ‘Good’ in all areas. Apr-May 2019
Our pursuit of academic excellence is based upon our unshakeable belief that every person is unique and special, and has the capacity within themselves to succeed. Our vision is to nurture our Readers of today to be inspirational Leaders of tomorrow, and our job as a school is to help each and every young person discover their unique talents and help them to fulfil their dreams in shaa’ Allah.
While it is our priority that the education your child receives here with us will enable them to achieve academic excellence, it is also part of our vision that all our children are filled with positive experiences, that they are aware of the endless possibilities that await them and that they are nurtured in order to develop within them, a confidence to embrace whatever comes their way taking Islam as their criterion to distinguish right from wrong. All of our staff share this vision and work tirelessly to provide a varied and engaging curriculum and a positive school experience.
If you are looking for a school that provides a high standard of academic achievement, a school that has established a solid foundation towards understanding Islam based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, a school that works alongside parents to develop dedicated, articulate, aspirational and intelligent British Muslims, then I strongly believe that Read Academy is that school.
It is a pleasure and a privilege to be the Deputy Headteacher here and although this website will show you a snapshot of life at our school, to experience a true feel of the warmth, the diversity, the vibrant flavour in the classroom and Islamic environment within the school, I encourage you to visit us and meet the teachers and students of Read Academy.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to our school.
Jazaakum Allahu Khayran

Wasalamu’alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
